Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Ochsner launched a brand new technology to help patients get better care today.
It’s called the Lifewatch Critical Care Telemedicine Program.
The program is basically a virtual ICU that allows off-site doctors to team up and collaborate with doctors working at the hospital.
The goal is to give medical teams a second set of eyes.
The program began at the end of March and is now available at three medical center campuses across the state, including Baton Rouge.
