NBC NEWS — Researchers are gaining insight into the biological roots of migraine headaches.

A new study from Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston identifies 3 gene variations, any of which can alter the risk for migraines by 10-15%.

The hope is that the new research could someday lead to new medications.
