Ground turkey recalled due to salmonella outbreak

NBC NEWS —
The federal government has recalled 36 million pounds of ground turkey contaminated with salmonella.
The USDA says the product was made at a Cargill plant in Springdale, AK. The contaminated ground turkey is linked to one death in California, and at least 76 other salmonella cases in 26 states.
Government health officials say they don't have enough information to issue a recall for specific brands or companies linked to the dozens of infections.
