NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Advisors to the Food and Drug Administration make a break through this afternoon by voting to recommend what could be the first prescription diet drug in more than a decade.
It's called Q-NEXA.
The drug also comes with impressive weight loss results. many patients lose about 10-percent of their body weight.
In 2010 the FDA rejected the diet drug after discovering possible links to heart problems and birth defects in women who become pregnant while on the drug.
