3 men in jail for car burglaries, theft in Livingston Parish
LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — Three Baton Rouge men are now in jail for crimes that happened in Livingston Parish.
Tyree Davison, 18, Darius Shaw, 20, and Devanta Richard, 20, were arrested for burglarizing several cars and stealing a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser, on the morning of July 21, 2014.
Lori Steele, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, says the arrests came from a joint investigation with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, after deputies arrested one of the men in late July 2014.
All three of the men are currently in the EBR Parish Jail and have each been charged with Felony Theft of a Motor Vehicle and 25 counts of Vehicle Burglary.
Steele says the investigation is ongoing, and the mean could face additional criminal charges.
