13,000 people lost power Saturday night

WATSON, La (NBC33) - Thousands of people were without power last night in Livingston Parish.
Over 12,000 people lost power.
It was unknown last night what caused the power to go out, but a source from DEMCO told NBC 33 that is a combination of two things, cold lines, and people overpowering their heaters.
Demco later said it was a fault in the transmission line near Pride, Lousiana that caused the outages.
Whether it was the cold or heat that made it go out, Livingston residents like Kim Ryan weren't happy about the inconvenience.
