BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA) – The Los Angeles-based band 100 Monkeys has spent the last two months working in Baton Rouge on a new album and music video. The band came by the NBC33 News studio this morning to give you a taste of the new tunes they’ve just recorded for the album, Liquid Zoo.

Tonight, Friday, Dec. 3, the band will perform to a sold out crowd in downtown Baton Rouge. We gave away two free passes to the show at the Manship Theatre, which is a benefit for the Runnels School.

The winner of the free passes and meet-and-greet with the band is Farren Monrose from Baton Rouge.

We also gave away autographed copies of the band’s first album, Grape, and their live album, too. Those winners are Ashley Lyons, Penny Brown, Courtney Guy and Joan Flake.
