BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) -- December 7, 2010 - Governor Bobby Jindal is discussing education today with the LSU flagship coalition.
The newly formed coalition to support LSU is modeled after the Blueprint Louisiana group. It consists mostly of successful business leaders statewide who pursued legislation to change how government operates.
The coalition wants to help LSU acquire more authority to increase tuition and fees.
This according to sean reilly with the coalition, of Lamar advertising. Reilly says with the state budget cuts to colleges and universities LSU must pursue self-generated funds.
