BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) - At Barnes and Nobles today, folks got a lesson in love from a local author.

George Bishop, jr. signed copies of his new book, Letter to My Daughter. The book is a collection of letters written from a mother to her runaway daughter, set in Baton Rouge.

Those that came out to hear a passage of his book also wrote their own love poems, and the best one got a free copy of the book, and a box of chocolates.

Bishop told NBC 33 that the motivation for this book came in a dream.
