LORANGER, La (WVLA)--Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrested a man over the weekend who they say was driving straight into a deputy's car.

Deputies say, 28 year old Natanael A. Reyes of Loranger was driving the wrong way down the road heading straight for a deputy's unit.

When the deputy pulled Reyes over, he says Reyes gave him a fake ID.

Reyes was charged with carless operation of a vehicle and providing a false ID.

Deputies placed a hold on the vehicle until proper registration can be provided.
