ST FRANCISVILLE (WVLA) - Ten inmates along with Six Correction Officers at Angola Prison could are under the microscope.

The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff says he's looking into reports inmates at Angola had sex with their wives during an event at the prison - while the correction officers just looked the other way.

Sheriff J. Austin Daniel says he first got word of the incidents 3 weeks ago.

Almost 100 people have been questioned and given lie detector tests.

Daniel says even though only 6 Correction Officers could be involved - it's still a cause for concern.

The investigation hasn't wrapped up yet. The District Attorney is expected to get the case in a few weeks.
