Baton Rouge Police, along with SWAT teams, and other authorities spent about 90 minutes at a home on the 3200 Block of Oswego Street.

An anonymous tip was called in around 2:00. According to reports, that tipster says Dewayne Steward was in the house. He's accused of shooting a sheriff's deputy at a traffic stop earlier this week.

Baton Rouge Police Chief LeDuff told NBC33 just after 3:15 Steward was not in the house.

Crimestoppers has increased the reward for information leading to Steward. Billboard are also in place in several spots in the Capital City with Steward's picture.
