Morning Show Producer

Immediate opening for full-time Morning Executive News Producer at Baton Rouge NBC Affiliate. Must have the highest journalistic and ethical standards and excellent news judgment. Should work well with others and adapt easily to change. Must have good writing and editing skills as well as working knowledge of various newscasts with the ability to work in any format necessary. The ideal candidate will have previous web posting experience, and an desire to provide excellent news coverage not only on the air – but on the web. Should be a proven newsroom leader with the ability to quickly adapt to change. Should have experience overseeing the production and operation of a newsroom and news team.

Knowledge of Edius and Final Cut Pro is beneficial. The successful candidate will be someone who is flexible, and works well in a team environment. Should have no less than 3 years producing experience in a medium market television station and a working knowledge of ENPS. On air experience is a plus. Should be prepared to produce newscasts for multiple markets.
