Executive Producer, Reporter

WVLA is looking for someone to fill the role of Executive Producer, Reporter.
This person will report to the News Director and help with the overall news content and brand expectations. The Executive Producer, Reporter will also assist News Director in overseeing websites and social media for the newsroom.

The right candidate will also be able to handle scheduling duties and working on special projects.
The Executive Producer, Reporter will also help News Director with news content and issues pertaining to other properties for which WVLA outsources news.

Technical Director

Immediate opening for NBC Affiliate in Baton Rouge, La. This is not an entry level job. We're looking for a team player who can bring our broadcasts to the next level. Must have 3 years directing experience or equivalent in knowledge. High school diploma required. Some college helpful, but not essential. Will technical-direct live news programming. Skills/duties include editing, graphics, studio, lighting, camera experience preferred. Must be flexible with work hours. Must be willing to work early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

WGMB FOX44 has an immediate opening for a Master Control Operator/Supervisor. Will handle all aspects of employee scheduling, supervision, hiring, termination, etc.

Will ensure operators are trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of on-air operations and guarantee that on-air aesthetic quality is kept at a consistent high quality.

Will also maintain satellite feed ingest schedule, and control flow and distribution of program material during edit, quality check, and final playback.
