Should work well with others and adapt easily to change. Must have good writing and editing skills as well as working knowledge of various newscasts with the ability to work in any format necessary. The ideal candidate will have previous web posting experience, and an desire to provide excellent news coverage not only on the air – but on the web.

WVLA NBC33 News in Baton Rouge, LA has an immediate opening for an experienced Video Journalist/ fill in anchor. Successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment.

Candidate will be responsible for shooting, editing, writing, and voicing over stories. Stories will appear both on-line and on-air. Successful candidate should have no less than 3 years experience working at a commercial television station in a medium market. Strong live presence is a must.
