NBC News — North Korea's foreign ministry is condemning a U.S. plan to build a radar station in Japan. In a statement read on state TV the North Korean foreign ministry said the move would force the country to become, quote, "a more powerful nuclear weapons state."
The pentagon announced on monday that U.S. and Japanese officials have agreed to put a second defense system in Japan aimed at protecting the country from the threat of a missile attack from North Korea. The exact location of the radar installation has not yet been determined.
