Traffic stop leads to multiple charges

While attempting a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle, he ignored the deputy’s emergency lights.

When the suspect finally brought his car to a stop, deputies immediately made contact. The officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana.

Deputies observed what appeared to be a cluster of marijuana in the suspect’s hand. He then resisted arrest, but was detained quickly.

Isiah Taplin, 26, arrested and charged with No Seatbelt, Possession of Marijuana, Obstruction of Justice and Resisting an Officer.
