HOLDEN, La -- On the afternoon of November 24, 2010, a Holden man was arrested for more than 100 counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile. These charges stem from events that occurred several years ago when the victim was a juvenile.
Franklin Dale Church, a 44 year old white male who listed his address as 22614 Charles Holden Road, Holden, La., was charged as follows:
>101 Counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile
>1 Count of Pornography Involving a Juvenile
The child pornography arrest is the result of a separate investigation jointly conducted by the Livingston Police Department and Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office. That investigation began when Church was arrested for Computer Aided Solicitation of a Juvenile on November 1, 2010. During that arrest, Detectives seized a laptop computer containing an image of what appeared to be a juvenile female. They were eventually able to positively identify the child in that image and confirm her as being under the age of 17.
Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000.00 and up to 7 years in prison (for each count). Possession of Child Porn is punishable by a fine of up to $10,000.00 and up to 10 years in prison.
As of November 29, 2010, Church remains in the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $2,625,000.00 bond. This is an ongoing investigation and other charges are possible.

So ur saying he kept pictures of nude children on his computer for 27 yrs. That they seized in 2010. I don't think so. He is a sick person, and needs to stay behind bars.
How can it be legal to hold someone to such a high bond preventing him from defending himself against something that allegedly happened so many years ago? Isnt our legal system supposed to be set up so that you are innocent until proven guilty? In this case it seems everyone has decided he is guilty before he has been given a chance to defend himself against such allegations.
What they are failing to mention is that the alleged charges of indecent behavior are from more than 27 years ago when the accused was himself a juvenille.
