Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Prices are the way back down at the gas pump, just as summer comes to an end.
There were concerns prices would continue to climb because of refinery problems and unrest in the Middle East.
But now, across most parts of the country, prices have been on the way down for most of the week.
Here's a look at the latest numbers here in Baton Rouge, according to GasBuddy.com:
The average price in the Capitol City today is about $3.61 a gallon, which is five cents down from last week.
Experts say the downward trend should continue.
