Denham Springs High School Project Graduation volunteers have teamed up with Cookin’ for Charity to sponsor a Texas Hold’Em Tournament to benefit the annual Project Graduation program.

The tournament will be held at Bingo City, 2030 Florida Boulevard in Denham Springs, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15.

The cost of the buy-in for the tournament is $100, and participants will be allowed to purchase re-buys for $50 during the tournament. Cash-valued VISA cards will be awarded to the top six winners.

Participants can purchase advance tickets or register at the door. Food and soft drinks will be provided to all players.

“We are calling all card players and waging enthusiasts to join our volunteers for a fun night to benefit a great program. All proceeds go to benefit Project Graduation for this year’s Denham Springs High School Senior Class,” said Delia Taylor, DSHS Project Graduation fundraising chairperson.

Taylor thanked the organizers of Cookin’ for Charity for sponsoring the evening. She noted that Cookin’ for Charity is licensed with the state to host Texas Hold’Em gaming events.
