Medical students and recent alumni of LSU Health Shreveport’s School of Medicine will be in Baton Rouge Saturday, October 27 to share their experiences and answer questions about the medical school in Shreveport. The event will be held in the Lod Cook Alumni Center on LSU’s campus from 9 to 10:30 am.

Sanjay Juneja, a fourth-year medical student and graduate of LSU, will be among the current medical students on hand on Oct. 27.

“As a Baton Rouge native and LSU grad, I didn’t seriously consider going to medical school in north Louisiana until I toured the campus,” said Sanjay. “I’m looking forward to talking to pre-med students in south Louisiana and share information I wish I had known earlier on in college. Medical school at LSU Health Shreveport has been the perfect fit for me.”

The event is free and open to all college students interested in medical school, but reservations are requested by October 21 at www.lsuhscshreveport.edu/medstudents.
