Southern Screen now accepting film submissions

LAFAYETTE, LA — Southern Screen is now accepting submissions from southern filmmakers for the upcoming film festival that is scheduled for November 14-17 this year. Please submit if you are a southern filmmaker or if you have a film about the south. Film submissions will be accepted for all types of films including student film, short film, documentaries, features, animation and music videos.
Interested filmmakers can download a submission form by visiting the submissions page of SouthernScreen.org. The submission form along with the film and $20-$25 entry fee can also be mailed or dropped off to:

The regular deadline for film submissions is May 28, late deadline is July 8.

The Southern Screen Film Festival is a four-day event that aims to engage filmmakers and film enthusiasts in the art and education of filmmaking. Southern Screen will provide residents of the Acadiana area an opportunity to view award winning independent films from around the world in the form of short film, documentary and feature film. Southern Screen will also provide open discussion panels, workshops and demonstrations for filmmakers hosted by artists and professionals in the entertainment industry ranging from directors and writers to radio producers and 3D experts.
