It’s something we use every day, but spend little time actually looking at – soap. A Louisiana woman created products that are not only visually interesting, but works for those with the most difficult of skin conditions.

Lisa Daye, owner of Bubble Tree Soapery located in Ferriday, La, began creating her own soaps, body butter bars and lip balms because she suffers from Eczema. Unable to find a product that could keep her skin hydrated, she became frustrated. That’s when she decided to take things into her own hands.

Daye played with ingredients until she found a blend that did the trick. Then, she got creative.

“If you have to use soap it might as well be pretty,” Daye said.

Her soaps come in forms of cupcakes, hot cocoa, baseballs, tractors... and the creations are endless.

Her concept is perfect for the holiday season, and that's exactly why she's gained some national attention.
