Discover Baton Rouge’s finest restaurants for a fraction of the cost as DIG Magazine presents its 1st installment of Restaurant Week Baton Rouge. This year’s Restaurant Week will showcase over 25 of the best dining establishments from all areas of the city during the week of January 14-19, 2013.

Diners can enjoy 3-course meals at fixed prices from $15-$35 per person from the some of the city’s best restaurants. In its first year with 29 restaurants and 20,000 expected diners, Restaurant Week Baton Rouge is hoping that the success of this week will translate into great revenue for all participating restaurants.

"The Little Village is very excited to be a part of something like this," said Hugh Freeze, Assistant General Manager of The Little Village Downtown. "With so many other quality venues involved in Restaurant Week is gives it such a good community feel. We are excited for a chance to show our regular and new customers what Little Village is all about. We couldn't be happier that DIG is finally bringing something like this to Baton Rouge."

This bi-annual event offers more than delicious food and prices. $5,000 will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Foodbank on behalf of the diners, sponsors and participating restaurants. The donations will equal to 35,000 meals for those in need by year's end.

“The Food Bank truly appreciates the opportunity to benefit from Restaurant Week Baton Rouge and to have partners like DIG Magazine and all of the supporting restaurants join us in our fight against hunger. This $5,000 donation will provide 35,000 meals for those in need in our 11-parish service area,” said Mike Manning, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Diners are encouraged to support the Greater Baton Rouge Foodbank, as well as the local restaurant industry by dining at the following restaurants January 14-19, 2013: Bin 77 Wine Bar & Bistro, Bistro Byronz, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Cheesecake Bistro by Copeland's, Copeland’s of New Orleans, Doe’s Eat Place, Flemings Steakhouse, Hello Sushi (Burbank & Highland locations), IPO Restaurant, Jones Creek Café & Oyster Bar, Kona Grill, Stadium Sports Bar & Grill (In L’Auberge Casino & Resort Hotel), La Carreta (Bluebonnet & Government locations), Le Creole, Mestizo, Mike Anderson’s, Niche Bar and Grill, Nino’s Italian, Portico Bar & Grill, Rock-n-Sake, Romacelli, Stroubes, Tallulah Crafted Food & Wine Bar, Thai Kitchen, The Little Village (Airline & Downtown locations), The Londoner, The Melting Pot, Tsunami Sushi.
