Zachary, La (NBC33) — A lightning strike is blamed for a house fire in Zachary.

The fire started Wednesday afternoon at a home on the 22-thousand block of Plainsland Road.

A support unit from Baker was sent to help Zachary firefighters battle the blaze. Nobody was hurt, but the house is a total loss.
