Police are searching for the two men behind a brutal attack on a store clerk at an Abington, Massachusetts 7-11 store.
The Sunday morning attack was caught on camera, despite the suspects tearing down two surveillance cameras outside the store.
A camera inside shows the clerk being hit with a hammer, splashed with hot coffee and then being beaten with his cash drawer.
"I think they are obviously on drugs or something. They had no experience at all because if somebody tried to rob a place, you don't rob with customers inside. They scare customers and scare the guy fighting for his life," said Tony Fadl, the store manager.
Chief David Majenski of the Abington Police Department said that the video shows the clerk fighting back.
All three men ended up on one side of the counter, which is when the clerk was hit with the cash drawer.
Money is seen flying everywhere as the suspects fled.
The suspects got away with just $200.
The police chief said the clerk is doing very well.
"He's a resilient individual that withstood this and hes doing ok," Majenski said.
The manager said the clerk finished out his shift that night and is now taking a few days off to recover.
Police said no arrests have been made, but they are hoping by releasing the surveillance tape they will find their suspects.
