Please join LSU Museum of Art's education curator, Lara Gautreau, for an orientation to the Docent Program. The meeting will be held on the 5th floor in the American Masters exhibition.

Docents are trained volunteers who guide visitors through museum exhibitions to facilitate greater understanding and enjoyment of the art. Docents can be the momentum and the backbone behind innovative programming that would not be possible without their willingness to dedicate precious time and energy.

No previous experience is necessary - just a love for and/or interest in art. We'll give you the "tools" for the rest.
