When the Sun's massive magnetic field gets twisted, a sunspot can form. That's where the surface of the Sun is cooler, but still hot. Cool! Children will view a presentation, then engage in a hands-on activity.

For children ages eight to twelve. Parent must remain with child. Limit fifteen; walk-ins welcome, but HRPO will take reservations over the phone beginning 9 August.
