Cough Syrup Recall Includes More Than A Dozen Children's Brands

The makers of some cough and cold medicines for infants are voluntarily withdrawing 14 medicines.

The drugmakers say misuse of the over the counter medicines in kids under two could lead to an accidental overdose.

Consumers should contact the makers of the products for more information, or log onto www.otcsafety.org.  

The withdrawal comes a week before a meeting by the FDA to discuss the safety and effectiveness of over the counter cough and cold products for children.
