The Mikie's; LSU Student-Athlete Talent and Awards Show

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is currently planning The Mikie's, a student-athlete awards and talent show to be held on Tuesday April 17, at 6PM. Teams are putting together acts to showcase their talents in the form of dances, skits, and songs. In between these acts, ESPY type awards, voted on by student-athletes, will be handed out for the 2011-2012 season. Donations and admission proceeds from the event will be presented to Best Buddies, a non-profit organization that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
