Neighborhood Pet Market, located at 12871 Perkins Road (at Siegen Lane) is hosting a Jambalaya Dinner & Dog Wash Fundraising event to raise money for local non-for-profit organization, Spay Baton Rouge, on Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 10:30 AM-2 PM.

Come on out and fill your tummy with delicious pork & sausage jambalaya for $5! Treat your furry companion to a bath and do some dog-gone good at the same time!

Spay Baton Rouge was created in response to the pet overpopulation problem in East Baton Rouge Parish, where over 9,000 cats and dogs are euthanized every year by the EBR Parish Animal Shelter. Through volunteer efforts, Spay Baton Rouge is dedicated to decreasing the euthanasia rate of companion animals by providing affordable spay and neuter services to pets of low-income people in the greater Baton Rouge area. Since its inception in 2006, Spay Baton Rouge has spayed and neutered 10,367 cats and dogs.
