Hunters for the Hungry

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries urges all hunters to support Hunters for the Hungry on Clean Out Your Freezer Day set for Sunday, Sept. 25.

As the 2011-12 hunting season gets underway, hunters can donate frozen game to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in support of the needy within the community. Between 1 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 25, frozen game and fish will be accepted at the following collection points:

Ascension Parish
