Asian for Miracle Marrow Matches

10,000 patients need a marrow transplant. Only half receive one. Half is not enough (marrow.org). The odds are 20000 to 1 in being matched to a compatible donor.

The Asian Society in Baton Rouge in collaboration with the Asians for Miracle Marrow Matches (A3M) will be hosting a Donor Registration campaign along with the Mary Bird Perkins Free Cancer Screening from 8:00am-noon.

In order to register to be a bone marrow donor, one must be between ages 18-60.
