(Baton Rouge, LA) – A versatile cast will jazz the LSU Union Theater stage, Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:30PM. The revue brings the musical soul of 1930’s Harlem to the stage through the music of jazz legend Thomas “Fats” Waller and Harlem in its heyday.

Ain’t Misbehavin’ features 30 unforgettable song-and-dance numbers that take you on a journey as it pays homage to the black musicians of the Harlem Renaissance. Songs like “Two Sleepy People,” “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love,” and “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter,” evokes a delightful humor and infectious energy that will captivate audiences of all ages.

Years ago, co-author Murray Horwitz partnered with lyricist and director Richard Maltby, Jr. to creatively blend the elements of both comedy and jazz into a hit Broadway show. Since its original production in 1978, Ain’t Misbehavin’ has become an American legend and is still considered as one of Broadway’s best. Even with today’s audiences, Ain’t Misbehavin’ still holds its reputation as “an energetic, musically rich show.”

The “Ain’t Misbehavin’” cast will perform Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:30P.M., at the Union Theater, located at LSU Student Union.
