"Talkies" go out of style in "The Artist." This ode to the silent movie era won this year's Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. In it, a 1920's film star searches for his place in a new Hollywood where sound recording has turned the industry on its ear.

Police academy flunkies go back to high school in "21 Jump Street." After botching an arrest, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are taken off the beat and sent to a special undercover unit. Their job is to infiltrate a high school drug ring, but they find out that fitting in isn't as easy as it used to be.

All Hades breaks loose in "Wrath of the Titans." Humanity's lack of devotion has weakened the Gods and their grip on the imprisoned Titans, who hatch a plan to kidnap the great Zeus. Only his half-human son Perseus has the power to journey to the underworld to save both Zeus and mankind.

Seven dwarves beat the “spell" out of a fairy tale in "Mirror Mirror." Armie Hammer plays the handsome prince in this riff on “Snow White”. He's torn between two ladies - the spellbinding Snow White herself and the spell-casting evil queen. Whoever lands this leading man gets to rule the kingdom.

Eddie murphy gets tongue-tied in "A Thousand Words." He plays a chatterbox book publisher who tricks a self-help guru into signing a book deal. After a mysterious tree pops up in Murphy's backyard, he discovers a leaf falls every time he speaks, and when the leaves are gone, so is he.
