Women Build, an initiative of Habitat for Humanity International, brings together women from all walks of life to actively address the problem of children living in poverty by building safe, affordable homes. Construction for the Women Build house will begin in September of 2012 in Baton Rouge, and will continue for the
following eight Saturdays.
“The Pink Tool Belt Bash is all about women helping other women achieve independence and having a great time while doing it,” explains Lynn Clark, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity. “For the last seven years the Pink Tool Belt Bash has been so much fun and so successful, we knew we would have it again this year. This year’s Bash will be even better – Juban’s delicious food, fabulous company and at the same time helping a family realize their
dream of owning their own home.”
Over 170 women attended last year’s bash, which raised $22,000 for Women Build 2011.
