Great American Seafood Cook-Off tickets available at Whole Foods on August 1

Louisiana — The Whole Foods Market Louisiana stores will have Great American Seafood Cook-Off Tickets available for purchase at their Guest Services desks beginning Wednesday, August 1. Tickets are $5 each in advance and $10 at the door.
The Great American Seafood Cook-Off will be held Saturday, August 11 in Hall J at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. Sig Hansen from Deadliest Catch and Chef Cory Bahr, 2011 Louisiana Seafood King, will co-emcee the competition. In addition, the Whole Foods Market Fishmonger Champion Bob Reany will perform a whole fish cutting demonstration at 12:15 p.m.
On Sunday, August 12, 4-H members compete in the 4-H Great American Seafood Cook-Off with time limits, competitive judging, and plated dish presentations. Teams currently represent Oklahoma, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana with more to come.
