The Elizabethan Gallery will open its annual summer show featuring new works of art by members of the Associated Women in the Arts on Thursday, July 12th, with a reception from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

In honor of the state's bicentennial, the theme of the show is "Louisiana, Life and Lagniappe". Over 20 artists will be showing a wide variety of mediums from watercolors, oils, acrylics to collages in traditional to modern styles.

This annual AWA summer show will be held in conjunction with the Mid City Cultural District's summer art event, "A Mid City Night's Dream", a coordinated mini art hop with seven other Mid City Merchant member art businesses.

The show is free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.
The show will hang until Saturday, August 25th.
