BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Downtown Baton Rouge turned blue and white tonight for the first ever Baton Rouge Greek Festival.
The crowd braved the rain to come out and watch greek dancing. The crowd also could get their hair braided like a Greek goddess.

There was plenty of Greek food. Fans of the fest chowed down on lamb roast right at the festival.

The money raised from today's event goes towards building a new Greek Orthodox community center here in Baton Rouge.
