BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The parade may be over, but the St. Patrick’s Day celebration is continuing all day on Perkins Road. That’s because the local bar Uncle Earl’s is hosting a massive music event.
Live music will be blasting from two stages located in the parking lot of Uncle Earl’s, which is located at 3753 Perkins Road. Although this is the third annual event, organizers say this year is going to set a new president for the event.
“This is the beginning of a genuine annual music fest with diversity, and a good selection of music for the masses,” Scott Gaskin, Green Frog Music, explained. “We have a stage for cover bands. We have a stage for the original bands. We have a national headliner. There will be DJ music inside of the club as well. This event has it all!"
Headlining the festival event is the rock band Everclear. Other bands included are Beer for Breakfast, Adam Dale, Redheaded Stepchild, Snapper and the Fishsticks, The Anteeks, Jonathan “Boogie” Long, Startisan, The Heaters, Captain Green, and Hazy Ray.
