Max Bemis, Sherri DuPree to perform acoustic show at Spanish Moon
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A husband and wife team will perform at the Spanish Moon on Tuesday, Dec. 13. The duo features founding member and frontman of Say Anything, Max Bemis, and Sherri DuPree, one of the members of Eisley.
Bemis and DuPree married in 2009 and moved to Tyler, Texas, but have remained active in their separate music projects. Now, the two have set out on an acoustic tour, which began just under two weeks ago.
Interestingly enough, the couple has a small connection to Louisiana. Sherri and sister Stacy DuPree are both members of Eisley. Stacy DuPree is married to drummer Darren King of the New Orleans-based band, MuteMath.
Tickets to the show are $12 in advance and $14 at the door (opens at 9:00 p.m.). Click here to purchase tickets in advance.
The Spanish Moon is located at 1109 Highland Road.
