Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — If you are looking for some entertainment close to home, tonight is the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's show "Quidam".

You can catch the show tonight through Sunday at the Baton Rouge River Center.

It's a whirlwind performance featuring acrobats and a moving score.

Performer Mai Bouchard says the story goes beyond what you'd expect for a regular circus.

"The show is about a little girl named Zoey, and her parents kind of ignore her,” said Bouchard. “So Quidam arrives. Quidam is a nobody - a passerby - and comes in and opens door of her imagination. "

Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster for tonight's performance. That show starts at 7:30 p.m.
