BATON ROUG, LA (NBC33) — Southern University's Visual and Performing Arts Department will be performing "Blues for an Alabama Sky" this weekend in the Frank Hayden Hall Theatre.

Set in Harlem, N.Y., the subjects of homosexuality, abortion and even birth control are brought up in this play.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for students.

The performances will be held on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m.
