The two finalists to become the next superintendent of East Baton Rouge Parish Schools begin interviewing tomorrow.

Dr. Maria Pitre-Martin is the Director of K-12 Curriculum and Instruction for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. She'll be interviewed by the school board tomorrow.

Bernard Taylor, the Superintendent of Schools in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will be interviewed on Wednesday.

The interviews are set to start at 5:00 p.m. at the Instructional Resource Center on South Foster.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

School board officials tell NBC33 news the interviews are expected to last about two hours.

A special meeting has been called for Thursday; the school board hopes to name a finalist that day.
