Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — It's Election Day, and people all over the capitol city have been racing out to the polls to make their voice heard.
People were pouring into Woodlawn Elementary today to vote today. Whatever your party affiliation, people today said it's important to put the game on hold to make a decision that'll affect you in the long run.
"It's a beautiful day, there's no reason to not get out and make a change, and try to help your community with your vote before the game." Greg Guffey, a voter, said.
"It's important to come out and vote because if you want change, you have to go forth and make an effort to want the change to happen, if you don't, you can't complain." Danae Billingsley, a voter, said.
