Some women may be at risk for an unplanned pregnancy due to faulty birth control pill packaging. Qualitest Pharmaceuticals is recalling several lots of oral contraceptives because of a packaging error.

The blister packs were rotated 180 degrees, which changed the order women take their pills. The company says taking them in the wrong order doesn't pose any health risks, but might leave women unprotected against pregnancy.

Pharmacists are being asked to contact women who've filled the recalled prescriptions. The affected products are: Cyclafem, Emoquette, Gildess, Orsythia, Previfem and Tri-Previfem.
