BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) -- December 6, 2010 - This deep freeze tonight can make it especially hard on those who don't have a place to call home.

That's where shelters like the Salvation Army come in. They go out of their way to make sure those without heat or blankets at least have a warm bed on a cold night.

But their supply of beds is limited. Sometimes they have to refer people to other shelters.
