Lauren Hoffman with the McMain Child Development Center tells us about the help they provide to children wiht special needs. She then discussed the "Wheels to Succeed" program, which helps provide these children with bikes specially adapted to their needs.

The "Wheels to Succeed" program is hosting an event called: " No Such Thing as Impossible Fundraiser Bike Ride" on Sunday, March 25, 2012.

She shared that there will be a Kids Fun Ride at noon. Adult rides start at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.

The ride will be held in St. Francisville, La.

Specially honored bike rider Mr. Jairo Alvarez, will be honored at this year's event.

The help of local businessman, author, and philanthropist Jairo Alvarez, helps raise much of the money they use to buy adapted bikes.

Adults can register at www.active.com to participate in 10-mile, 46-mile or 74-mile rides, but kids of all ages and abilities are welcome at noon for a ride around West Feliciana Sports Park.

There  will be a Freedom Concepts booth set up from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

No pre-registration necessary for children.
