Golf Tournament to support Domestic Violence Awareness

Andy DeShazer  with Women Outreaching Women shared first about Women Outreaching Women- a shelter in Denham Springs, La. for women escaping domestic violence. He shared that Louisiana is number one in the country for domestic violence murders - he said, due to lack a education and economic factors.  He then shared about a fundrasier to benefit this organization : The First Annual Golf Tournament for Domestic Violence on May 7th.  The tournament will be held at Greystone Country Club.  Registration will be at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.   The Entry fee is $500.00 per four man team with 18 holes of golf, dinner, prizes for top 10 xcores, a poker run, door prizes and silent auctions.  They will also we raffleing a membership to Greystone Country Club and one lucky golfer could win a new Jeep Wrangler courtesy of AllStar Dodge!  For more information visit or call (225) 791-3940 or (225) 615-0577.
