BR Transit Reform to be voted on April 21

Adam Knapp with the BR Chamber of Commerce and Reverend Raymon Jetson, Pastor of Star Hill Church in BR shared about the Comprehensive Transit Reform to be voted on April 21.
Adam Knapp shared from an economic perspective the need for this reform so that BR can have a public transit system that is comparable to other cities.He detailed such things as the need to establish a dedicated revenue source for this service
Rev. Jetson shared that the over 2000 people a day use the public bus to go to business and conduct their affairs and shared that it would cost an estimated $4 a month to homeowners if the bill were to pass.
Adam Knapp further commented that the public bus system provides an alternative to traffic congestion , and that there are steps that the Metro Council and others will need to do to all come together to make this reform possible.
