Police looking for second man in burglaries
BELLE ROSE, LA. (NBC33) — On November 5, 2011, three residents of the Belle Rose Community contacted Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to their vehicles being burglarized. Stolen from the vehicles were a total of two handguns, cash and other miscellaneous items.
Detectives were called to the scene to begin the initial investigation. Detectives canvassed the area and located a witness that stated that she was leaving her neighborhood around 6:45 a.m. and observed two male subjects under one of the victim’s carports. She didn’t think anything of it until she learned that the vehicle had been broken into. The witness positively identified one of the suspects and Detectives were able to secure an arrest warrant for Landon H. Glaviana, of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Detectives took Glaviana into custody later that day in Donaldsonville and he was booked with Criminal Trespassing.
During the investigation, the second suspect was identified as Jake Raybon, of Donaldsonville, Louisiana. After detectives secured an arrest warrant for Raybon and took him into custody in Donaldsonville and later booked him with Simple Burglary. Both subjects have since bonded out of the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
